Alex is not only secretary of the foundation but he brings wealth of knowledge and experience from the educational arena. He served both as a teacher and head teacher in over ten public schools in a period of forty years. Upon his retirement, he embarked on a new assignment of monitoring the quality of education given to the vulnerable children in his country especially in the rural communities.
During his tenure in public service, Alex participated significantly in identifying and recruiting of orphans and vulnerable children into schools. He also spent part of his time devising means of motivating the vulnerable children to be at a school and advocating for their rights and needs, especially in provision of scholastic materials and feeding.
